I wanted to give this week's sketch a try, and this is what I came up with. I love how my friend Colleen (aka Smoatsmom here on SCS) drew in a frame with a pen and straightedge on a card she made earlier in the week and had to try it. Thanks for the great idea, Colleen! I love how it turned out. I was also inspired by some cool stuff I've seen done by members of the PTI DT with one of their recent new releases, Friendship Jar. I've had this jar image from The Angel Company for probably six years now and thought I'd fill it with some Flourishes lemon slices and make it into a glass of pink lemonade!! If a Mason jar full of frosty pink lemonade isn't all about summer, I don't know what is

How you can keep it straight in your head to cover so many challenges at once is beyond me ~ but you've done it again. What a cute card - and if it wasn't such a cool and dreary day I'd probably be hankering for some pink lemonade. It's hot drinks for me today though! Love your piercing and the buttonz and string as embellishments ~ great card. This is such a great sketch. Maybe if I go make a warm weather card like this, the sun will come out! Thank goodness for the WW punch or Kookzi would be putting you in detention! I've still got to punch my way outta there! RYPH!!

Emzi, this is 'summer' for sure. I love lemonade! Now, if I tried that straight edge idea, it would not be straight when I finished....I just know it. This is sooooo pretty!!

Wow - you racked up on the challenges. I love the sketch, the image, the colors, and the "feel" of this card. You did a fantastic job on it!
